This is one of the images made for the Mountanpark festival exhibit last year (Fjellpark festivalen, utstilling) . This festival is the oldest rock festival in Norway, and have a good tradition of combining music and different forms of art. This is one of paintings in a group of images called The Band. The different paintings forms a rock band.

But I have seen the first flowers. ^____^
In Norway we have some great children book authors, and I am happy that I got to make an illustration for one of the best known storytellers last year. His name was Alf Prøysen, and I made illustration for his short children story The Knight and the little boy .
Then I also was asked to draw some sketches for another story in the book made by the last of a generation of children book authors. Anne-Cath. Vestly is a wonderful author who tells stories to kids, and with a lot of joy. I did two different sketches for a short story, but they found the original illustrations that was made for it. Her husband and family has made nearly all the illustrations for her stories. I am happy to show the sketches that I made for the story, and you see them in this post.
Anne-Cath. Vestly is one of the biggest Norwegian children book legends. And one of the authors that made me like reading books and come up with stories. Here stories brings a smile upon the face of the reader. ^_____^
